This unit takes you through the compliance requirements, practical processes, and technology tools that support effective enrolment and induction. It covers AVETMISS data collection, USI verification, RPL and credit transfer, student privacy obligations, and how to conduct a compliant student induction.

• Technology in Student Data Management - The role of SMS and LMS systems in data management, AVETMISS compliance, and the core features required for compliant enrolment processing.

• The Enrolment Process - Core functions of the enrolment process, compliance aspects of student enrolment, and key documentation requirements.

• Identity, USI and Student Suitability - Verifying student identity, USI requirements, assessing student suitability, and LLND pre-assessment.

• RPL, Credit Transfer and Pre - Enrolment Information - RPL and credit transfer processes, and the obligation to provide accurate, transparent pre-enrolment information.

• Student Induction - Conducting effective student inductions, key induction documents, supporting policies and procedures, and audit and compliance documentation requirements.

Assessment

This unit includes a self-marking knowledge quiz and written assignments marked by your specialist coach, our very own RTO Administration Consultant. Written assignments require you to apply your learning directly within your own RTO context.
