Student Engagement and Support Systems

Supporting students is not just a pastoral responsibility — it is a compliance obligation. The Standards require RTOs to identify student needs, provide appropriate support, and ensure that no student is disadvantaged in their ability to access and participate in training. This unit gives you the practical knowledge and strategies to meet these obligations effectively.

Course Overview

This unit covers student support obligations under the Standards for RTOs 2025, strategies for engaging diverse learners, how to identify and respond to LLND needs, at-risk student identification and intervention, and the documentation requirements that demonstrate compliance with support obligations.
