Course Overview
This unit covers the full completion cycle including final assessment administration, AQF credential issuance, AVETMISS data finalisation, student privacy and data retention obligations, and SMS reporting for completions.
Lessons at a Glance
Final Assessment and Completion Administration - The administrator's role in the completion process, including verifying all units are complete, evidence is in order, and USI is validated.
Issuing Certification - AQF certification requirements, the 30-calendar-day rule, qualification vs statement of attainment, and the sign-off process for credential issuance.
AVETMISS Data Finalisation - Finalising AVETMISS data at completion, common errors and corrections, and Total VET Activity reporting obligations.
Student Privacy and Data Retention - Privacy Act 1988 obligations, minimum data retention periods, and how to manage and store student records securely.
SMS Reporting for Completions - Running completion reports in the SMS, using the Administration Final Review Checklist, and ensuring data integrity for NCVER submission.
Assessment
This unit includes a self-marking knowledge quiz and written assignments marked by your specialist coach, our very own RTO Administration Consultant. Written assignments require you to apply your learning directly within your own RTO context.
