Overview

This unit focuses on the VET Student Support quality area and what it requires of your RTO before and during enrolment. You will explore how to identify and respond to learner needs through LLN assessment and pre-enrolment processes, engagement strategies for diverse learners across online and blended delivery, and systems for monitoring progression and intervening early. You will also examine wellbeing, inclusion and the referral pathways that connect learners to community support.

By the end of this unit, you will understand the compliance obligations for learner support and be able to build systems that genuinely improve engagement, progression and retention while standing up to scrutiny under the Standards.
