Overview

This unit deepens your understanding of assessment as the area auditors scrutinise most closely. You will revisit the Principles of Assessment and Rules of Evidence, then move into designing complex assessment tools, mapping them to unit requirements, and managing sufficient, valid evidence across multiple assessment events. You will also cover validation (what it is, when it must occur, and who can participate) and moderation, assessor calibration and the quality assurance that keeps assessment consistent.

By the end of this unit, you will be able to design and manage robust, fair, compliant assessment, and lead validation and moderation processes that drive genuine improvement in assessment quality.
