Conflicts of Interest, Third Parties and Financial Viability

Understand RTO obligations for managing conflicts of interest, third-party arrangements and ongoing financial viability. Online, self-paced.

Conflicts of Interest, Third Parties and Financial Viability

Course Overview

This unit goes deep into three of the most complex governance obligations facing RTOs: managing conflicts of interest, overseeing third-party arrangements, and monitoring financial viability. You will cover disclosure and management of conflicts, the written agreement, monitoring and student notification requirements for third-party arrangements, and the Financial Viability Risk Assessment Requirements. You will also use the Compliance Risk Register at a leadership level to prioritise and lead risk mitigation across your RTO.

By the end of this unit, you will be able to manage the governance areas where failures most frequently occur, and lead a quality culture built on communication, accountability and informed decision-making.
