Student Information and Enrolment Policy Pack

Providing prospective students with accurate, complete information about your RTO's programs and services before they enrol is both a compliance obligation and a quality practice. When students make informed decisions about their learning journey, they are better prepared, more engaged, and more likely to complete. When they do not receive that information, your RTO carries the risk.
 
The Standards for RTOs 2025 are explicit about what pre-enrolment information must cover. Students must be able to access clear details about the program they are enrolling in, the support services available to them, their rights and responsibilities, fees and refund arrangements, and how to raise a complaint or appeal. This is not information that can be buried in a student handbook and considered done. It must be actively provided, in plain language, before the enrolment decision is made.
