A comprehensive suite of teaching, learning and assessment resources for RTOs delivering WHS and low-risk heavy vehicle driving training within the Transport and Logistics industry.
The resources cover following and applying WHS procedures and low-risk driving strategies when operating heavy vehicles using higher-order driving skills. Content includes hazard perception, risk control, judgement, decision-making, vehicle management and multi-tasking across a range of heavy vehicle driving situations.
Training materials also address operating heavy vehicles on rural and urban roads, negotiating hazards, monitoring traffic, managing vehicle performance, and applying steering and braking techniques across different road and traffic conditions.
