RTO Key Position Descriptions TEMPLATES

The CWTS RTO Key Position Descriptions Templates are a fully editable, rebrand-ready set of templates aligned to the Standards for RTOs 2025. Designed for RTO owners, managers, and human resources staff responsible for defining and documenting the roles within their organisation, they provide a structured framework for clearly articulating the responsibilities, qualifications, experience requirements, and performance expectations of the key positions that carry compliance weight in an RTO context.
 
Documented position descriptions are a foundational human resources compliance requirement that many RTOs overlook until an audit makes the gap visible. The Standards for RTOs 2025 require your RTO to demonstrate that every person contributing to its operations has the qualifications, experience, and attributes necessary to perform their role. That demonstration begins with a clear, documented definition of what each role actually requires. Without position descriptions that accurately reflect the compliance obligations attached to each key function, your RTO cannot effectively assess candidates during recruitment, set performance expectations during induction, or demonstrate to ASQA that its staffing decisions are deliberate, documented, and grounded in the requirements of the Standards.
 
These templates provide a consistent, auditable framework for defining and documenting key RTO roles across your organisation.
