Certificate TEMPLATES

The CWTS Certificate Templates are fully editable, rebrand-ready templates aligned to the Standards for RTOs 2025. Designed for RTO administrators, compliance officers, and managers responsible for issuing certification documentation to students, they provide a structured and compliant foundation for producing AQF certification documentation that meets the content, format, and language requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework and the Standards for RTOs 2025.
 
Certification documentation is the most visible output of your RTO's training and assessment system, and it carries more compliance weight than many RTOs recognise. Every qualification and statement of attainment your RTO issues must contain the specific elements required by the AQF, including the correct training product name, code, and version, the full name of the issuing RTO, the student's legal name, and the date of issue. A certificate that omits a required element, references a superseded training product version, or presents information in a way that does not meet AQF requirements is a non-compliant credential that reflects on the integrity of your entire certification practice and must be reissued at your RTO's cost and administrative burden.
 
These templates provide a consistent, auditable starting point for certification documentation across all qualifications and units of competency on your scope. They align to clauses 2.1 and 2.2 of the Standards for RTOs 2025 and were developed in conjunction with the Certification Issuance Policy Procedure. They include the following:
