Training and Assessment Plan for Students TEMPLATE

The CWTS Training and Assessment Plan for Students is a fully editable, rebrand-ready template aligned to the Standards for RTOs 2025. Designed for RTO trainers, assessors, and administrators responsible for managing individual student progression through a training program, it provides a structured framework for documenting the specific learning objectives, assessment deliverables, timeframes, and support arrangements that apply to each student, giving both the student and your RTO a clear, shared record of what is expected and when.
 
A Training and Assessment Plan is the individual-level expression of your Training and Assessment Strategy. Where your TAS describes how a program will be delivered to a cohort, the individual plan translates those commitments into specific, personalised timeframes and deliverables for each student. This distinction matters because students within the same cohort do not always progress at the same rate, require the same level of support, or face the same circumstances during their enrolment. An individual plan that is reviewed and updated as the student progresses gives your RTO the visibility it needs to identify students who are falling behind, implement support actions before disengagement occurs, and demonstrate to ASQA that your delivery practice is genuinely responsive to individual student needs rather than applied uniformly regardless of circumstance.
 
This template provides a consistent, auditable framework for individual student training and assessment planning across all programs and delivery modes your RTO uses. It aligns to clauses 1.1, 2.3, 2.4, and 2.5 of the Standards for RTOs 2025 and was developed in conjunction with the Student Support Policy Procedure, Training and Assessment Strategy Policy Procedure, Delivery of Training Policy Procedure, and Assessment and Evidence Collection Policy Procedure.
