Post Assessment Validation FORM

The CWTS Post Assessment Validation Form is a fully editable, rebrand-ready form aligned to the Standards for RTOs 2025. Designed for RTO validators, compliance officers, and quality managers responsible for conducting and recording post-assessment validation activities, it provides a structured framework for reviewing student evidence samples and assessor judgements against the full requirements of the unit of competency.
 
Post-assessment validation is not a moderation exercise. It is a systematic quality review that asks a more fundamental question than whether assessors are marking consistently. It asks whether the assessment tools being used are producing evidence that genuinely reflects the requirements of the unit of competency, whether the judgements being made are valid and defensible, and whether the assessment system as a whole is operating as it should. The Standards for RTOs 2025 require that post-assessment validation is conducted on a scheduled basis, by suitably qualified validators, with documented findings that feed directly into your continuous improvement process. A validation activity that is not formally recorded provides no audit trail and no evidence that the obligation has been met.
 
This form provides a consistent, auditable process for conducting and recording post-assessment validation across your scope of registration. It aligns to clauses 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5 of the Standards for RTOs 2025 and was developed in conjunction with the Validation of Assessment Policy Procedure, Validation of Assessment and Risk Register, Pre Assessment Validation Form, and Validation of Assessment Guide.
