Third Party Student Notification FORM

The CWTS Third Party Student Notification is a fully editable, rebrand-ready form aligned to the Standards for RTOs 2025. Designed for RTO administrators and student services staff responsible for managing enrolment documentation and third-party arrangement disclosures, it provides a structured framework for formally notifying students when any component of their training or assessment will be delivered by a third party on behalf of your RTO, ensuring students are fully informed of the arrangement before their training commences.
 
Notifying students of third-party arrangements is not a courtesy. It is a specific compliance obligation under the Standards for RTOs 2025. Students who enrol with your RTO have the right to know who will be delivering their training, conducting their assessments, and providing the services they were promised at the point of enrolment. Where any of those functions are performed by a third party, that arrangement must be disclosed to the student in a clear, documented way before delivery begins. A student who discovers mid-enrolment that their training is being delivered by an organisation they were not told about has a legitimate grievance, and your RTO is accountable for the failure to disclose regardless of what your third-party agreement says.
 
This form provides a consistent, auditable process for student notification of third-party arrangements across all programs where such arrangements apply. It aligns to clause 4.2 of the Standards for RTOs 2025 and was developed in conjunction with the Third Party Arrangements Policy Procedure, Third Party Monitoring Checklist Form, Third Party Agreement Template, and Third Party Agreement Register.
