A TAS that was compliant when it was written does not remain compliant indefinitely. Training package versions change, delivery modes evolve, student cohorts shift, and industry engagement outcomes inform new approaches to training design. The Standards for RTOs 2025 require that your TAS is a living document that reflects what your RTO actually does, reviewed regularly and updated when circumstances change. RTOs that review their TAS only in response to an audit finding, rather than as part of a structured quality cycle, consistently find that the gaps identified are more extensive and more costly to address than they would have been with earlier intervention.
 
This checklist provides a consistent, auditable process for TAS review across every training product on your scope.
